This was my entry for the 3dCommune `Heros` contest. I was lucky enough to win 5th place. I've taken a few liberties with historical accuracy as I don't think Alexanders army met Elephants until India, but it does add drama. This image has the most postwork I had ever done up until this point. I rendered individual layers and composited them in Photoshop and then added dust and created the sky.

Necrons

I couldn't find a way to change the eye texture on the Necrons so I did some simple postwork using Photoshop. It's a wonderful tool the Blur tool.
